Old Linux Software
This page contains some of the older software I have written. The software depends on old version of different libraries, so it may not work or compile on new Linux distributions.
VGB-GUI
A program for launching and configuring VGB.
VGB-GUI was developed using Glade, GTK+, GNOME, gnome-python, libglade, and Python.
Get VGB at http://www.komkon.org/fms/VGB/.
Get gnuboy at http://www.starfox.org/gnuboy/.
Files
Newest version is VGB-GUI 0.3.1.
New in this version
- Fixed a bug that made it impossible to access the Preferences dialog.
GNOME Configurator

Files
Newest version is GNOME Configurator 0.8.0.
New in this version

Quack
Quack is a GNOME interface for jaiku.com. It allows you to set your location and send messages and it also shows notifications when your contacts post new messages.
Requires pygtk, gnome-python, python-json and notify-python.
I have been informed that there also exists a project for Emacs called Quack: Enhanced Emacs Support for Editing and Running Scheme Code. It seems that all the good project names are already taken. So if you came here looking for the other Quack now you know where to find it.
Files
Newest version is Quack 0.0.4.
New in this version
- Better explanation of API key in the preferences dialog.
- Removed the (non-functioning) applet support and added status icon support instead. Clicking the status icon will hide/show the main window.
