All of them turned out great – especially the apple pie and the lemon meringue pie (the lemon filling was quite a chore to make, though). And a note about the lemon meringue pie recipe – use a different recipe for the pie crust as I wasn’t too happy about the consistency while working with it. Use this instead: Flaky pie crust.

I didn’t use that much for the soap dispenser, so I tried using the rest to keep a rivet in place that had jumped out of its joint – so far it is holding up but it is under more pressure than I would expect Sugru to hold up to.

My next Sugru fix came when a bathroom sink started leaking from the drain trap. It is a plastic drain trap that consists of two plastic parts glued together and it came slightly apart at the seam (why this wasn’t a solid mold I do not understand). I took it off, let it dry and put Sugru all the way around. No more leaking. Unfortunately I didn’t have any white Sugru so now it’s filled with blue stuff…

My conclusion it that you should always have a bit of Sugru in the house – it is just too damn handy.

So this is it I guess… I am going all-in on the “Before Watchmen” comics. I truly hope I won’t regret this. I read Watchmen for the first time when I was about 12, I have read it countless times since then and like many others I consider it to be one of the greatest comic books ever.

Also Rasl #15 will the last issue – can’t wait to see how it ends.

I pulled tweets with the substring “i am in you” from Sat, 10 Mar 2012 15:28:22 to Mon, 12 Mar 2012 05:27:13 and decided to look into this.

So that’s roughly 38 hours worth of tweets and after removing retweets as best I could and tweets that said “i am in your” or similar stuff that didn’t matter I ended up with 277 tweets.

That’s one checkin every 8 minutes or so. That’s probably somewhat less than what Foursquare gets but still a fair amount.

Obviously there are still some tweets in there that don’t conform to the meme and some retweets I didn’t correctly weed out, but it is still really fun to look at. Now this just needs to get hooked up to Google Maps and I think I could be onto something kinda fun…

Added Reset to my pull list. Could be interesting, could be weird – only 4 issues so I am willing to give it a go.

All screenshots were taken on December 13th 2011. The son’s 3DS has been in usage since early June 2011 and the daughter’s 3DS since April 2011 – ie. roughly 7 months and 9 months respectively.

A funny thing to note is that while the daughter’s usage of the 3DS has declined since the initial phase (where anything new is used constantly) the son’s usage hasn’t really seen any drop. To be fair he also used the daughter’s 3DS before he got his own, so the stats are a bit skewed.

Also note that the scale on the son’s 3DS goes to 80 hours – on the daughter’s it is 60 hours.

Lots of good stuff this time. Saga by Brian K. Vaughan looks very interesting – a big story set in a big universe. More Empowered is always (always!) great. And a Channel Zero collection with all the issues. Channel Zero has always been one of my favorite (way too short) series, and I am missing an issue so this collection is just right for me. Now they just need to reprint the t-shirt as I am also missing one of those.
