Fedora 7 Test 2 and USB Palm Pilot Sync

I have been having some trouble synchronizing my Palm Pilot (a Palm TX) using Fedora 7 Test 2 and JPilot.

I have found a solution that works for me now. It is based on USB Palm and Fedora Core 3. Small changes were needed since apparently the udev syntax has changed slightly.

Create /etc/udev/rules.d/10-visor.rules containing this line:

BUS=="usb", SYSFS{product}=="Palm Handheld*", KERNEL=="ttyUSB[13579]", SYMLINK+="pilot"

And then it ought to work.
